Located near Ürgüp and Ortahisar, in the heart of the national park, our cave ranch is a perfect starting point for spectacular nature trails, away from busy roads and built-up areas. The ranch is operated by a professional team who have been organising horseriding holidays in Cappadocia for over five years. We have a range of Anatolian and Arabic horses for all riding levels. Our horses are well-looked after, friendly and safe.
Every afternoon during the season, we organise a 2-hour guided ride suitable for everyone, regardless of riding level. The ride will take you through the beautiful landscape around the canyon of Üzengi, the churches of Gömede or the fairy chimneys of Pancarlik valley. The ride offers magnificent views over the national park as you return to the ranch in the evening light.

Departure times change throughout the season:
Total duration of the ride is 2 h 15 minutes to allow for a 15-minute break (time spent in the saddle: 2 hours). Transfer to the ranch only takes 10-15 minutes, but we will pick you up at least 30 minutes before ride departure so you have the time to get acquainted with your horse and the riding equipment.

Kapadokya Ranch has established itself as a specialist in horse-riding holidays, providing trails around Cappadocia to a range of specialist travel agencies in Europe and horse-riders worlwide. Our activities include 1-day rides and 1-week trails around the national park, suitable for experienced riders.
Leaving from the ranch in the morning, we ride into the heart of Cappadocia's most beautiful valleys, negotiating scenic paths in the canyons, cantering on long sandy tracks through vineyards and orchards.
We stop to visit the region's troglodytic treasures along the way, stopping for lunch in small village restaurants. Return to the ranch in the evening.A total of 4 different itineraries are available during the week, but you may choose to join us for only 1, 2 or 3 days. We use a different route each day to include the national park’s most beautiful spots.
> Day 1: Gumuslu valley, Yatak valley, lunch in Ortahisar, churches of Gomeda
> Day 2: Canyon of Uzengi; lunch in Mustafapasa; Mount Avlak; Damsa valley
> Day 3: Pancarlik valley; Red and Rose valleys; lunch in Cavusin; valley of Urgup
> Day 4 : Canyon of Tartali; lunch in Ayvali; Bahceli, Ibrahimpasa
On request, we can arrange accommodation in a guesthouse or a boutique hotel near the ranch, or we can pick you up from the hotel you have already booked.
