De retour de Cappadoce depuis moins de 48h, je suis toute déprimée car tout me manque :
Vangy d’abord, avec ses belles oreilles duveteuses, ses petites manies comme marcher en dehors des routes, jouer avec l’eau et grignoter même dans les passages périlleux, son souffle derrière moi et ses petits coups de museaux lorsque je marchais devant elle, sa mine endormie après la sieste du midi …
La Cappadoce et son soleil de plomb, ses fonds de vallées rafraichissants, ses abricots à cueillir aux arbres, sa vallée de l’amour XXX, ses paysages indescriptibles, ses belles églises (oui oui Nico, les églises étaient très intéressantes !) ….
Le camping entres filles, les nuits à la belle étoile sous des cieux magnifiques, les bons diners de Mehmet et les parties de Uno endiablées …
Merci Nicolas et Dominique de m’avoir fait passer de si belles vacances !

Well I'm back in the big smoke of London and am missing my holiday with you so much I stand the very good chance of losing all my friends unless I learn to stop telling them how good it was! Thank you so much for taking such good care of us. The horses were fantastic and so agile that had I not been there I would not have believed it possible for horses to travel across such terrain. I am so sad the holiday is over; I really can't recommend it highly enough to anyone who enjoys spectacular scenery, good food and the company of those who really know and care about their horses.
If ever you're in London please do look me up.

Mon seul regret: n'avoir pas pu faire mes adieux à Selim le dernier jour. On ne comprenait pas un mot l'un de l'autre, mais qu'est-ce qu'on a rigolé! L'aventure, adaptée presque sur mesure: Dominque, t'es géniale!
Le petit groupe hétérogène est le creuset de la magie. Point négatif: aucun resto turc de Montréal n'est si bon. Vous devriez fournir des "patch" pour atténuer le sevrage après la rando. Chevaux increvables, ils en redemandent! Et vous futurs touristes, ne touchez pas à Suliman: c'est MON papa adoptif, na!

Selim and I didn't understand a word from one another, but man, did we laugh! Customized adventure: thanks Dom, you're clever and generous. The small heterogenous groups make the magic. One negative point: I won't find any better Turkish food here in Canada. Quite tenacious horses. And you tourists stay away from Suliman, he's MY adoptive father now! |

Two days back home and I'm already longing to come back :o) Great time I had last week in this mysterious landscape of Cappadocia on a beautiful, trustfull horse! Thanks for this experience, maybe we'll meet again. Greets to Zafer & Suliman and a hug for Dayan and Bambam ;o)

trektocht door cappadocie is een week waarin je weer een beetje bij jezelf kunt komen en aan de hele vluchtige wereld waarin je leeft te ontsnappen. Hoop dat ik met cappadocie in mijn achterhoofd de zaken hier een beetje beter kan relativeren.Nico Nazim en Zafer bedankt je hebben me een hele waardevolle week gegeven. |
